We had so much fun yesterday going to the fair in the neighboring town of Oswego. Fairs bring such nostalgia for me of running our family booth in Star Valley as a youngster. We would campout in a tent, work 16 hour days, and sweat pure grease from working over the fryer. Yes, it sounds grueling but we were working together as a family and built some of the most lasting bonds and memories. It is amazing how the most impressionable bonding time comes from the most intense circumstances!
This lady brought her pet birds to the fair and let this kids hold and cuddle it

The fire dept. gave away hats, badges, and rubberband guns. Gotta love free stuff!
Haela was in awe of the camel. How often do you get the chance to go for a camel ride. We figured the cost was an investment!

Of course, every kids favorite...the merry-go-round. I miss the days when they cost 25 cents!

That camel ride would be worth whatever it cost. very cool. I like Enoch's face looking at the bird & I didn't realize how long Haela's hair is!
Did you think the first pic I have of Anna on the power wheel looks like Haela?!? Haela's face comes to mind when I see that pic.
