We're in St. Louis!

After a 3 day trip to St. louis we finally made and are reunited with Kelly. The house was a giant allergy when we first walked in and I about turned around to drive back to Idaho but we found the source--the air ducts and got them cleaned and sanitized. The guy showed us the filter afterwards and it was over a foot thick of dog hair and cigarette ash. They are now completely clean after being scrubbed, suctioned, and sanitized and we all feel a lot better about living here. I can't believe how green it is! There are a million trees and rolling hills. We love the ward already and can tell they will become our adopted family. We hope we get some visitors!!! Kelly is already turning it into a completely different house.

We stopped at Mt. Rushmore on our way--it was absolutely breathtaking. If you ever get a chance you have got to go--and go through the caves they have around there.

This is a picture of our backyard and deck--though it is very weathered--we love it. Enoch loves to stand on the railing and sing "I am the king of Moroni" (I guess he is trying to be like the angel Moroni on top of the temple)--what a character!

We are MOVING out of state--AGAIN!

It is interesting how things work out. A couple of years ago when Kelly got layed off from his job in Chicago we thought St. Louis was the right place to go--but after trying to make things work several times and a wrench continually getting thrown in those plans we realized the Lord was trying to tell us that wasn't where we were supposed to go. So we packed up our house and moved home--thinking it was temporary. As much as we fought it things fell into place to stay in Idaho. After a year of missing the mission field I decided to change my attitude and "grow where I was planted". Once my perspective changed I started really enjoying myself and liking the idea of staying. Well then a few months ago Kelly's business went from booming to nothing. It was like pulling teeth to get new things to happen. In the meantime his friend in St. Louis was calling him to come partner with him there because he couldn't keep up with all the business by himself. So Kelly decided to try it out for a week and knew right away it would be the best thing to do. Then a guy called to get his bathroom remodeled for his home that wasn't selling and it fell into place for Kelly to make a trade with him to fix up the place to sell in exchange for us living there. We thought the St. Louis door was closed forever but now we realized it was just the timing that was off the first time. We couldn't get anything to work the first time while everything fell into place to come to Idaho while now nothing is working in Idaho while everything falls into place to move to St. Louis! Go figure!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So this is a little late but I just had to show the pictures because I was proud of myself that I actually was festive this year and had us ALL dress up in green! I just happened to purchase green shirts for us all a month before (they just happened to be the color on sale so it worked out great). We normally cannot find green shirts for everyone so I had to show off this year!

Our trip to Arizona!

After feeling depressed about the bleak weather in Idaho we decided to go on a trip to Arizona to warm up and see some family. Going from 20 degrees to 70 was definitely rejuvinating. Thanks to Kelly's airline miles we didn't have to pay for it!

The Playroom. We just finished the toy organizer and the kids were really proud of all the work they put into putting it together.

The House. This is a picture of the house from the landing looking down the hall.

Our little buddy. He has gotten really good at scooting out of his carrier.

Haela, showing off her valentines for her class.

A LONG DAY!

This kid was SO fussy and I couldn't figure out what was wrong--I tried everything and then finally after a few minutes I figured out what the problem was!
